The Sauna in our amenities building requires frequent maintenance due to users interfering with its operation. Simple things, like moving the 'rocks' around can lead to 'hot spots' resulting in a temperature overload and the shut-down of the system. Water shouldn't be added to the sauna. When water comes into contact with a hot element the element explodes. Also, some users have placed different items into the heater element area (see attached picture); the result is again an eventual shut-down of the system. In some cases this means bringing in an electrician to conduct repairs. Your cooperation in not moving the rocks, not placing any items into the heater
unit and putting no water on the sauna element are appreciated and will help in maintaining the life of the unit, lower our operating costs and ensure user enjoyment of our facility. Thank you. Comments are closed.
