Summer Solstice Party Fundraiser

It’s time for our (once annual, but COVID interrupted) SUMMER SOLSTICE PARTY when we invite our Crossbow Landing Neighbours to join us is celebrating the arrival of Summer.

This is an outdoor event to be held at the end of the driveway between the Point and the Landing and is open to Crossbow residents and their guests.  In the case of inclement weather, the party will be held in the Crossbow Point great room. In this case, the attendance will be limited and we ask that the number of guests should not be more than 2 per unit.

Live music will be provided by the very popular Charlie Butler. You can bring your own refreshments and you may want to bring a lawn chair. We ask that you label your drink bottles. Coolers and ice will be provided.

This free event is sponsored by your Social Committee but everyone is invited to bring a cash donation. See below for details.

Michelle Fuller is a modern-day hero for many of us. Throughout her six cancer journeys, over many years, she has exhibited a zest and gratitude for life, as well as a commitment to and compassion for others. After her last cancer diagnosis, Esther and Ron Davies set up a most successful Go Fund Me account. The goal of this endeavour was to provide extra funds to help with costs for travel and accommodation expenses incurred for medical appointments, etc. With the extra money, Henri will be able to take time off work to provide post surgery support to Michelle.

Michelle’s latest operation was in late April. Her path to recovery will be challenging. We know that financial assistance will help reduce their stress levels in this difficult time. 

At our Summer Solstice party, we are encouraging anyone who has not contributed to the Michelle Fuller Go Fund Me project to donate. Some may wish to enclose some cash or a cheque in a Get Well card for Michelle. Others may wish to donate anonymously. We have discovered that even the smallest of donations add up quickly so please consider giving even a very modest amount.
