​

The Lodge (165 Crossbow Place) is a social and recreational facility intended for the exclusive use of and enjoyment by Crossbow Point owners, tenants, their families and authorized guests.

This common property element enhances the social and recreational opportunities of Crossbow Point residents. Although it consists of features and services found in public venues, it is private property belonging to all owners.  Various conditions and rules apply regarding the proper use of the facility to protect communal privilege and to ensure equal access and benefit.

Operation and maintenance costs are supported by owners as a portion of their monthly condominium fees.  Because negligence or misuse may result in accessibility and financial loss to the Crossbow Point community, it is imperative that owner/tenant users and their guests be are aware of the rules regarding access and usage.

 Access:
There is a street level main entrance (165 Crossbow Place) as well as two underground passageways connecting to the parkades of the 155 and 175 residential buildings.

Security and Safety:
Building access requires the use of security fobs.  The system electronically records time of access and condo unit number of the user. The building is monitored by five closed circuit security cameras. The building is alarmed and monitored for security purposes during closed hours. A security patrol service monitors the closed status of the building. Pets are not permitted. Smoking is not permitted.

Building features:
  • Ground floor: Library for books and videos, Fireplaces (2) with lounge areas. There is also a Movie Theatre with chairs (15) - FOB access to is required and the facility is under video surveillance. Enjoy the facility with family and friends and please clean up after use. The Theatre is booked using a calendar located on a desk adjacent to the Theatre.   • Second floor:  Great Room is available for personal exclusive use (room, fully equipped kitchen, tables and chairs, place settings). In addition there is a Games area with two pool tables, a shuffle-board table, fireplace, card table with chairs, and lounge chairs.

General Rules
  • Open from 6:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. daily
  • Children under age 18 must be under direct parental supervision at all times
  • Swimming Pool and Whirlpool/Hot Tub areas close at 10:30pm daily.
  • No lifeguard provided. Use is at ‘own risk’ with adherence to posted rules.
  • On-site cleansing shower required prior to pool use.
  • Food and beverages prohibited in pool, whirlpool, steam room, sauna areas.

Great Room - personal use

NOTE THAT THE TERMS OF RENTAL OF THE GREAT ROOM HAVE CHANGED AND WILL AFFECT MOST EVENTS SCHEDULED IN 2023. REFER TO THE LETTER FROM THE BOARD 

The Great Room is available for exclusive personal use per the categories described below, and subject to a signed 'user agreement' which can be downloaded per links at the end of this section.

General supplies: 48 place settings; 106 Chairs; 14 Round tables (seat 8 each), 3 Rectangular tables (2 large; 1 small); 5 ‘stand up’ cocktail tables


  1. Personal exclusive (rental) use of the Great Room is available as outlined below. Exclusive use of the room, kitchen, supplies and barbeque (subject to rental payment and the signed user agreement). Refer to the applicable form at the bottom of this webpage for details and conditions.

  2. Exclusive use (no charge) of the Great Room (excluding kitchen, supplies and barbeque) is available at no charge for up to three hours subject to a maximum of 25 attendees. Refer to the applicable form at the bottom of this webpage for details and conditions.
