Christmas Trees

Only Artificial Trees are allowed in our Buildings

Banning fresh Christmas trees from condominium apartment complexes is a common practice. The main reason for such a "no-fresh tree" rule is the increased fire hazard associated with real trees. Maintenance is another factor. There will be i) needles on the floor in hallways and staircases and other areas, ii) follow-up work to take care of scratches on the walls and iii) extra clean-up needs around the entry doors. Ultimately the disposal of "spent" real Christmas trees is an issue for the condominium corporations and the municipalities.

The Board appreciates the residents' cooperation and understanding.
