Residents (Owners/Tenants)
- Residents are required to use their titled parking stall for their regular parking needs – whether they are living at Crossbow Point occasionally or permanently.
- Vehicles parked in your stall must always be insured.
- Residents may occupy a Common Property parking space for a short period of time (a few hours) providing there is little demand for Visitor parking. However, this usage of the Common Property parking space by a Resident must not exceed 48 hours unless explicit permission is granted by the Board.
- To locate your titled parking stall, search the Crossbow Point Titled Parking Plan for the precise location (click) of your stall(s). You will need to know the legal number of the stall(s). The annual Property Manager’s Report includes this information (click and scroll down to page 4 and search the table for your parking stall/s). Or click for this excerpted table. If you need more help you can get in touch with PEKA at 403-678-6162.
- It is important to note that Visitors parking is limited in the Common Property surface parking lot. Therefore, it is to be used only by Visitors and Guests.
- For the purposes of parking, a Visitor is defined as a non-owner, non-resident person staying in a Crossbow Point Unit or attending a social function in an Owner’s Unit or the Amenities building, #165.
- Visitors are requested to drive forward into the Visitor Parking stalls (do not back in) as a courtesy to Unit Owners having balconies adjacent to the Common Property surface parking lot; this helps to limit vehicle exhaust gases entering balcony areas and units.
- Parking by Visitors in the Common Property parking space is limited to a maximum of 7 consecutive days (or such period as the Board may approve).
Multi Vehicle Parking
- Multi vehicle parking is permitted within the Resident's titled parking stall. It is critical to observe that neighboring stalls are not infringed upon and no part of a vehicle protrudes into common properties.
- Please familiarize yourself with the criteria and note that an application has to be sent to PEKA. The Board will review each application for its acceptance or rejection.
- If agreed to by the Board, parking of more than one vehicle in the titled parking stall must be done in a safe manner.
- The Application Form for Multi Vehicle Parking is required to be completed and approved in advance. Refer to the link to the Policy document provided in the first paragraph on this webpage.
Keep the Garage clean and safe
- It is the objective to maintain a safe, clean and visually appealing parking and garage environment for Owners.
- Especially in winter, please help to keep the garage clean. Consider the suggestions of the attached and linked flyer.
- If your vehicle is leaking oil, please place one or more pieces of cardboard underneath to mitigate further damage to the parkade surface. The vehicle must be repaired as soon as possible to avoid administrative fees being levied against the Unit Owner. Failure to clean surface stains resulting from vehicle leaks will result in the Corporation undertaking the cleaning work and the related costs will be assessed to the Unit Owner.
- For matters concerning the storage of bicycles pleas refer to the Bicycle Storage page .
E-Automobiles
- The existing lay-out of the garages cannot accommodate electric cars. Though parking of an e-car would be feasible in a titled parking stall, it is not practical.
- There are no facilities for i) a quick-charge of a vehicle or ii) slow overnight charging.
- No existing 110 VAC outlets may be used for charging an electric vehicle
Tire Storage
- Storage of tires is not allowed within the titled parking stalls of Crossbow Point
- Tires and rims may be stored within assigned storage lockers
- Alternatively, a number of commercial establishments within Canmore will provide for the storage of tires and rims.
