About Crossbow - An Introduction
The Crossbow Condominium Complex fronts onto the Bow River along the north property boundary and onto the Three Sisters Parkway (named after the scenic Three Sisters Mountains) to the south.
The condominium is registered as Condominium Corporation No. 031 0034. Operations include CROSSBOW POINT (including the Re-division Plans numbers: 0410395 and 0510165) and Crossbow Landing (including the Re-division Plans numbers: 0311446 and 0413090). The By-Laws of the corporation govern the operation of both Crossbow Point and Crossbow Landing. These are, in effect, two separate condominium operations with CROSSBOW POINT maintaining a separate and distinct Board of Directors, Operating Fund, Reserve Fund and insurance coverage. The two operations share responsibility for the common access route and common frontage of the combined property area. The two Boards meet regularly as necessary to support legal requirements such as a common Annual General Meeting. Each Board, such as Crossbow Point, holds a separate Annual Committee Meeting that focuses on the business of the respective operation.
Crossbow Point has been in operation since 2004. It is comprised of two residential buildings, 155 Crossbow Place and 175 Crossbow Place (totaling 114 condominium units), and an amenities building (Owners’ Fireside Lodge). These are located on the western portion of the Crossbow properties.
The Lodge (Owners' Fireside Lodge) facilitates many activities. The large Great Room is used for Crossbow get-togethers and is available for private functions. It has a fully equipped kitchen and barbeque as well as tables and chairs to accommodate up to sixty people. Many residents enjoy our three fireplace lounge areas, two pool tables, shuffleboard, library, movie theatre, swimming pool, indoor/outdoor hot tub, steam room, dry sauna and fitness room.
Our heated underground parking for residents is appreciated by all. The Canmore trail system is adjacent to our property. Our grounds are impressive and we enjoy frequent visits from a variety of wildlife.
Our community consists of both full-time and part-time residents. While Crossbow Point is an adult community (age forty and above), visitors and guests of all ages are welcome. We take great pride in our sense of community. Many participate in neighbourhood walks, hikes, volunteer work, morning coffee and other social activities.
