Dear Owners,
We would like to provide an update on the elevator door controller replacements that will be taking place in Buildings 155 & 175. We have now been provided with dates for this work and wanted to ensure we were communicating these to you with as much notice as possible. Please know that your Board of Directors acknowledges that the shutdown of the elevators may result in challenges for some of you who have injuries or mobility issues. The decision to proceed with the preventative maintenance work was not taken lightly and we've been working with OTIS to schedule this work in a manner which will cause the least amount of disruption possible. As we communicated previously, this work is an important step in ensuring the long-term safety and reliability of our elevators as the original controllers have become obsolete and are no longer available or supported by OTIS. By undertaking this project proactively, we are able to control and mitigate the amount of time the elevators will be out of service. If we do not do this proactively and the controllers experience a failure, it could result in the elevators being inoperative for as long as three months. This is obviously something we want to avoid at all cost. The schedule of work is as follows, with the possibility of slight variances:
Thank you for your cooperation as we complete this essential upgrade. We appreciate your understanding and regret any inconvenience. Sincerely, Your Crossbow Point Board of Directors Comments are closed.
